Project Title 5053 and 5150 Nuevo West Graduate Student Housing and Nuevo East Graduate Student Housing
RFQ Text UC San Diego requests qualifications from firms for Geotechnical Testing and Observations Services for the Nuevo West Graduate Student Housing and Nuevo East Graduate Student Housing projects.
The selected firm will provide geotechnical testing and observations services during earthwork, foundation, retaining wall, flatwork and parking lot construction for the planned projects.  Time should be included for finished grading efforts at the end of each project.  In addition, the selected firm shall review the construction documentation package and provide written evaluation of all documents related to site excavation and grading, as well as all associated earthwork specifications. The services provided will be sufficient to determine if the geotechnical aspect of the earthwork and retaining wall construction are conducted in general accordance with the approved drawings, specifications and recommendations provided in our geotechnical report.

Final selection and appointment is contingent upon project approval.
