Project Title North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood - Geotechnical Testing
RFQ Text UC San Diego requests qualifications from firms for Geotechnical Testing and Inspection Services for the North Torrey Pines Living Learning Neighborhood project.
  
The selected firm will provide geotechnical testing and inspection services during earthwork, foundation, retaining wall, flatwork, utility installation, sitework and parking lot construction for the planned projects.  Time should be included for finished grading efforts at the end of each project.  In addition, the selected firm shall review the construction documentation package and provide written evaluation of all documents related to site excavation and grading, as well as all associated earthwork specifications.  Design review services will be required starting as early as June 2018. The services provided will be sufficient to determine if the geotechnical aspect of the earthwork, utility installation and backfill and retaining wall construction are conducted in general accordance with the approved drawings, specifications and recommendations provided in our geotechnical report.

Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Final selection and appointment is contingent upon project approval.
